ClearCourse acquires retail management software provider The EPOS Bureau

London | 3 August 2021 - ClearCourse Partnership LLP (“ClearCourse” or “the Group”), a group of innovative technology companies providing useful, integrated software solutions, today announces a deal to acquire The EPOS Bureau (“the Company”), a leading provider of stock control and inventory management software. The acquisition is the Group’s second of the year and sees the Company joining ClearCourse’s retail division, strengthening its retail management and e-commerce capabilities.


Founded in 1997, The EPOS Bureau is one of the UK’s premier providers of sophisticated software solutions for premium delicatessens and farm shops. It offers a unified platform with a wide range of capabilities to assist retailers, from helping keep margins under control through inventory management to providing a clear and intuitive interface with its point-of-sale platform. The EPOS Bureau’s hands-on project management, training and support services ensure that the team consistently go above and beyond to meet the needs of its customers.


The platform will be an invaluable addition to our retail, e-commerce and POS capabilities, and will offer synergies with a range of our brands.

Based in Northern Ireland, The EPOS Bureau has over 200 customers across the UK and Ireland, ranging from premium butchers to centuries-old cheesemongers, while the Company holds a warrant to provide its services by royal appointment. The Company’s ethos is centred around sustainability and social responsibility, supporting the development and growth of small independent businesses across the country. Several of the firms that have benefited from The EPOS Bureau’s services include Restoration Yard, Stratford’s The Farm, and Flourish Foodhall & Kitchen.

Before joining ClearCourse, Sacha spent nearly nine years as Chief Financial Officer at Coople, a leading digital staffing agency, where he led corporate expansion initiatives and oversaw the Group’s financial strategy.
